A Few Words About Us: Turning a Dream into Reality

Our journey officially began in the summer of 2011, but the seeds were planted much earlier, in 1994, when my father first introduced me to the world of windsurfing. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion that has guided me ever since.

After years of serving in the Greek military and working in Greek prisons, I dreamed of creating my own sanctuary—a personal paradise where I could escape, reconnect with nature, and relive cherished memories.

When it came time to choose a location for this dream, I prioritized a space that embodied tranquility and natural beauty. Despite having many options, I chose an area in Kos protected under Natura 2000, a decision driven by my deep respect for the environment.

Windzone was founded with a clear purpose: to offer our guests peace of mind and a chance to reconnect with themselves, while giving me the same sense of fulfillment and serenity.

In 2013, we expanded to include kitesurfing, and by 2023, we proudly introduced wingfoiling. What began as a dream has grown into a thriving reality, and the journey is far from over.
